Recent Work

We blog highlights of our recent sessions to give you a glimpse of the great clients we work with and the wide variety of  styles  we deliver at numerous locations around Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor and Northern Colorado.

Kathryn's Senior Portraits

Senior portraits are meant to portray  a sense of who the individual  has become, their interests and their attitudes. Kathryn was the latest senior portrait session and attitude.  We spent  time taking photos around Kathryn's house  because they are going to be moving soon and she wanted to capture some memories there. Once Kathryn got comfortable with us following her around, we photographed her with her dogs, her trombone, her letter jacket and her class ring, all things that were important to her.

This weekend we got to stay in Fort Collins and photograph Paige and Greg's Wedding on the Terrace at the Lincoln Center. The two of them described their wedding as a "vintage 50s European style wedding. With Paige's tea length dress and cute circular veil and Greg's pinstriped tux, they fit the part. This was an intimate and fun wedding. Paige and Greg managed to stay wonderfully relaxed and just be their normal energetic selves which made for very natural and photo journalistic photographs. One of the pictures shown below was Greg's response to the line you may kiss the bride (The prompt formal handshake! )  Greg and Paige ended their evening with a European flair riding off into the sunset on their Vespa (which of course matched the wedding colors)

Destination: Beautiful

We are writing this as we drive down the canyon from the Wild Basin Lodge where Dusti and Travis had a intimate destination wedding. Coming from Texas ans Wyoming they couldn't think of a place they would rather be then in the beautiful mounts outside of Estes park. With the wild basin river running through the background it made for a very scenic wedding. The schedule for the day was open and relaxed even after being delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, multiple keys locked in the cars everything went smoothly. Because the bride and groom left lots of time to get around to photograph in the beautiful grounds, we were able to get the casual Ramonatic and fun pictures bride and groom were hoping for. Denice and her staff at the wild basin lodge did a tremendous job the service was prompt, well done and very helpful.

The Day Through the Lens

Wow what a fun day, Amanda and Kurt had their wedding and reception on the campus of the University of Denver. This is a neat location because they have a program in hotel management. The whole building was created around training students to be leaders in the event industry. We found lots of fun spots around campus and in the building to take pictures of the couple. Amanda and Kurt loved the idea of candid pictures and that was what we spent time getting. Here are some of those candid moments that were happening, It really is fun to catch people in action.

Amy & J.D.

Back at the Brown Palace! The Brown Palace is where modern meets history, the wedding was a blast to take because there were many unique places to go. Walking around the brown palace the architecture is beautiful, but as older building go, it can also be dark and hard to take pictures in. This summer we have hired an assistant to come with us so that we can create beautiful images with great lighting. You will see Sharon walking around with a light pole helping to create natural lighting that makes a beautiful day even more beautiful.

The Sculpture Garden

We are so excited wedding season is finally here! As we enter this busy summer and start our new blog, we thought we would introduce the couples we will be photographing this summer. The first couple we will photograph this summer will be J.D. and Amy. We went to the Bensen sculpture park in Loveland and had a good time coming up with creative ways to use the sculptures in their engagement photos. They were both very natural in front of the camera and helped us come up with all sorts of fun and romantic photos.

Welcome to THE BLOG!
