So happy to photograph the UCH NICU families with Santa and Mrs. Claus again this year. Megan is the NICU social worker. We took festive portraits for families and siblings and toured a very full NICU photographing 24 babies with their parents and Santa. Linda, Megan and Mackenzie helped unwrap donated gifts that will be used by the NICU and some given to families in need.

We even got some exposure from CBS 4 TV.

Excited to be photographing for Project Homeless Connect tomorrow.

Project Homeless Connect is a one-day, one-stop annual event where adults and children who are homeless or near homeless can access a range of free services. Fort Collins’ 2015 Project Homeless Connect will take place April 10 from 8 a.m.-noon at the Northside Aztlan Community Center, with free breakfast and lunch provided.

Dozens of local nonprofits, government agencies and businesses will provide services including basic car inspection; bike repair; medical screenings; dental screenings; eye exams; family photos; haircuts; clothing; housing information; veterans services; employment services; counseling services; child care and children’s activities; bus passes; and pet services/food.

Homeward 2020, Bohemian Foundation and Colorado State University Student Leadership, Involvement and Community Engagement (SLiCE) co-produce the event with support from United Way of Larimer County.

We just installed a 3 canvas grouping. It looks great on the mantle. A nice looking family too.

I was invited by the Chicago Coalition for the homeless to photograph their fundraising event Decks and the City which was a night of Art, Fashion, Dance & Chance. There were local artist painting on premisis, local DJ, a great fashion show and lots of fun gambling for prizes! It was such an honor ot be a part of such a wonderful event and I hope to continue to work with them in the future, they support a population who often gets lost and forgotten. Sandberg Photography is made up of myself (Megan Hazel) and my father (Ken Sandberg). We formed this company when we were both living in Colorado. Due to my husbands work I have had to relocate to Chicago, IL. This is a great step forward in our business as we wanted to expand and now Sandberg Photography is in two states. We photograph weddings, high school seniors, and other portraits in both places. The quality of our services and products will stay the same. We look forward to building up this new business! We are here at the WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International ) conference in Vegas getting geared up for another year in photography. Each year I think I am sure I will have heard or learned it all, but there are new energetic speakers and lots of good advice to make our work better! Can't wait to bring back the information to work into our workflow!
